Glass coating is applied in the factory under optimum conditions. Baked at temperatures of 1500 degrees Fahrenheit to fuse the glass to the steel, the physical characteristics and corrosion resistance of Aquastore coatings have been throughly tested and documented. Special formulations, such as our white Vitrium coating with titanium dioxide, are available for specific applications. Our tank systems are ANSI/NSF Standard 61 certified for potable water contact. Aquastore sheets are produced with our proprietary Edgecoat process, which thermal sprays the edges with a stainless steel alloy. Add our chlorine resistant sealants and you have a glass-fused-to steel system designed for durability and minimal maintenance for the life of the tank.

Access ladders, intake piping, overflow and even the pumping station can be housed inside the column, and a security door is the only method of access to the interior of the column and the tank. The interior space can be used for office space, equipment storage and maintenance facilities. Inspection can be done within the column. Even the environmental limitations and liability of outdoor welding and painting are eliminated with a composite elevated tank.
